I thank the lord for the people I have found

I had an especially crappy day at work today, so I decided to head over to the local Beer Garden to drown my sorrows in a couple of Spaten Lagers. Good idea?! I think so.

Anyway, I heard this song at the bar and it kind of cheered me up. So now you get to hear it too.

Elton John - Mona Lisas And Mad Hatters (buy album).

Music is good.

This song always makes me feel good... maybe because it makes me feel as though I am in the movie Almost Famous!

The Indigo Girls do a good cover of this; it's on one of their live albums, I think. Helped me rediscover the original (as great covers should do).

I'd pass it along, but I'm about 600 miles from my desk...maybe later this week.

Good choice of beer to drown the sorrows, by the way.
