if you're ever forced into karaoke against your will, i would recommend you try "Tequila." everybody loves it.
Sweet Tequila Blues by Chip Taylor and Carrie Rodriguez is another personal favorite - although not necessarily for Karaoke.
No, no, no..El Jimador is the best inexpensive tequila around. My wife and I get a giddy buzz, not the nerve-grating kind, just enough to lose track of the afternoon. In fact, I've got an empty to light off right now...
Well, my warning is meant to apply to ALL brands of Tequila. As a general principle, I agree with you about El Jimador, but it was El Jim that done me in this weekend...
Lord, I'd forgotten that Shelly West song. Put it on and it could get the whole place two-steppin' and singing. You could ostensibly add you some Mickey Gilley -- "The Girls All Get Prettier at Closing Time."
Although it smacks of mainstream country, Joe Nichols' "Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off" is a pretty good song that fits the genre to a "T" (equilla).
